General Membership Meeting

October 18, 2006

MINUTES

1. Jim Hunsaker from the Denver Fire Department presented news from the DFD and answered questions. Response Training, known as RIT, is ongoing right now at Manual High School. He also stated that the area is well served for radio coverage and response time.

2. Gerry Whitman from the Denver Police Department presented updated crime statistics for Whittier and the city. Crime is down 6% overall in Whittier.

3. The following new WNA Board Members were elected by unanimous consent:

President – Justin Marks

Vice President – Jared Faris

Treasurer – Nathan Beal

Recording Secretary – Resa Baker

Membership Chairperson – Heather Heuer

At-Large Member – Scott Rittinger

The Economic Development Chair remains unfilled.
