There are a number of openings on the current WNA Board: Vice President, Treasurer, Economic Development and Membership Chairs. There are requirements that apply to all the WNA Board members, they include: attending and participating in membership and Board of Directors meetings; helping to create yearly goals and action plans; recruit new members and committee chairs; and keeping their memberships current. Most of the postions are two-year terms.

Elections for these positions are traditionally held during the October WNA Meeting, but WNA Board members can appoint new members right away, after an introduction to and vote by WNA membership.
