1892-1901: Ralph Conn, confectioner

1910-1924: Rose & Reverend Perry Jenness, Pastor, 23rd Ave. Presbyterian Church

1925-1935: Maude & Edward Abner, Supreme Commander of the American Woodmen (an African-American fraternal insurance organization)

1943-1970: Dr. Clarence F. Holmes, Jr., One of the first Black dentists in Denver; had his dental practice on Welton St.for over 50 years. Civil rights leader who helped found the Denver branch of the NAACP.

2330 Downing Street Whittier Neighborhood DenverThis box-shaped brick home, with its hipped roof and wide overhangs was a precursor to the Denver Foursquare style that gained immense popularity in the following few decades. Architect James Murdock, a native of Scotland, also designed St. Luke's Episcopal Church, Our Merciful Savior Episcopal Church, as well as the two houses immediately north of 2330 Downing, both built in 1902.
